Press release service · since 2010
Your story, to the right journalist.
PRM.no is an editorial platform for producing and distributing press releases to Norwegian newsrooms. You decide how much you do — and how much we do.
A reply within two working days. The first conversation is free.
Three levels
You decide how much to do yourself.
Most press releases don't fail because the news was weak. They fail because nobody found the time to write them. That is why the service is split in three.
You write, we distribute
You produce the release in our tool and choose the recipients. We handle the sending and report back on what happened to it.

For those who have the text ready
You write, we check it
You write the draft. We go through the angle, the language and the structure, and send only once you have approved the changes.

For those who want an outside eye
We produce it with you
We find the news, write the story and send it out. You bring the subject knowledge, we bring the journalism. If your material is in English, we translate it and adapt it for Norwegian newsrooms.

For those with the story but not the time
Most press releases don't stall because the news is weak – but because nobody found the time to write them.

Distribution
Reaching the right newsroom beats reaching the most.
Sending to everyone is easy. Sending to the people who actually cover your field is what produces coverage — and what keeps newsrooms opening our releases at all.
The full breadth of Norwegian media
News desks, national and local newspapers, trade press, news agencies and broadcast media. Both general and sector-specific.
Your own lists, kept to you
If you have contacts we don't, you add them yourself. Your lists are yours alone and are never mixed with our register or with any other client's.
A register that is maintained
Newsrooms close, journalists change jobs. The register is updated continuously, and addresses that no longer work are removed rather than sent to.
As of 1 October 2026 the register reaches 354 newsrooms: 216 newspapers, 67 in the trade press, 57 news sites, 12 magazines and journals and 2 TV newsrooms. Every address was checked against the outlet's own website in September 2026.
Background
Built by people who know both sides of the desk.
PRM.no is developed by Desken AS, which has worked on communication between clients and journalists since 2001. The service ran for years, and is has now been rebuilt.
That is an advantage we carry with us: we know what ends up in the bin at a news desk, and why. A press release does not get picked up because it was sent to enough people, but because someone in the newsroom recognised a story.
